Light up the candle, light the stove. Autumn is here, finally. Wait for some rain now. Thunders and lightning, raining cats and dogs. Pour yourself a cup of coffee. Eat a biscuit or two. The name of the candle is ginger tea. It’s burning bright red with a hint of ginger and caramel. Wait till the night is darker and the sleep gets stronger. September and October already gone. Soon it will be December and then the New Year’s. Where have all these days and weeks gone? Where have my joyful dances gone now? Let it rain and snow and get colder. Let the wind whirl and the owls coo-coooo, coo-coooo. Here he is, the oldest friend, marking the day turn into night. It was a good day, saw an old friend, talked for 2 hours and came home feeling better. Time now for sleep dear. You need to rest. Listen to a few Italian songs, put on your PJs and tuck yourself in. There’s still hope for better days to come so better sleep now, night night.
